SAMET, which has R&D and innovation at the centre of its investment areas, was deemed worthy of the "Company with the Best R&D Centre in the Furniture Sector" award at the 4th Private Sector R&D Centres Summit. 
On 14 October 2015, at the award ceremony held in Ankara with the participation of Fikri Işık, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, the best performers in various categories among the companies with R&D centres were awarded. At the award ceremony where the best R&D centres of all sectors were determined, SAMET, which stands out all over the world with its investments in R&D and innovation and innovative products, received its award from Minister Fikri Işık.
At the R&D Centres Summit, where the stands of Turkey's top 70 R&D Centres took place, SAMET's stand attracted great interest from sector professionals.
