SAMET Special Session was held at Archifest'22 Architecture Festival!

SAMET, Turkey's leading and one of the world's largest furniture technical accessories manufacturers, which builds its design and production philosophy on making the life of its users more comfortable and high quality with its products, was this year's special partner of Archifest'22, where architects who shape the future come together...

 

While Architecture Architecture Festival, which was held for the 3rd time on 13-14 October as Bursa Branch of Chamber of Architects, hosted famous names such as Murat Tabanlıoğlu, Nevzat Sayın, Han Tümertekin, Can Çinici, Cem Sorguç, Gökhan Avcıoğlu, SAMET hosted the founders of Pin Architects and Ofist design offices with a special session.
 
In the session titled "Magnificent Harmony; Architectural and Interior Architecture Disciplines", SAMET Marketing General Manager Assist. Pınar Uçkan was accompanied by Pin Architects Founding Partner Architect Salih Küçüktuna and Ofist Founding Partner Interior Architect Yasemin Arpaç. In the conversation moderated by Fatoş Altıntaş, Editorial Director of Art'ı MEKAN Magazine, the designers interpreted the perfect harmony through the projects they realised.
In her speech, Pınar Uçkan underlined that SAMET products are inspired by the perfect harmony in nature and work in perfect harmony when they come together, while Salih Küçüktuna, co-founder of Pin Architect, stated that the success of their projects was realised by all the components working together harmoniously from the very beginning of the story. Yasemin Arpaç, co-founder of Ofist, interpreted the harmony through architectural and interior design disciplines working together.
 


The theme of this year's festival was "Transformation", which focuses on the rapidly changing world with the digital age and the people who try to establish a connection between the old and the new through space and time, and the guests also touched upon digital transformation through their own design offices. Pınar Uçkan emphasised the necessity of digitalisation and that they develop digital projects in this direction with the idea of how we can carry the stakeholders to a better process and how we can make their lives more efficient as SAMET; and stated that as SAMET, they always work non-stop to the smallest detail in order to add comfort and quality to the life of the user at every moment of the changing world and transforming life.
